Where it comes from
Official bulk downloads and documented APIs only: US FDA establishment registration and listing, Health Canada licence files, EUDAMED economic operators, and the Gulf registries where the terms allow. Exhibitor lists from the two main trade shows fill gaps and are labelled as such. Every establishment shows its sources and the date we last saw it.
What a count means
A count is the number of establishments in that market with a role in that segment: importer, distributor, authorised representative, sponsor, registration holder, wholesaler or manufacturer. One company listed in two registries is merged only when the normalised name and the country both match. Imaging and radiology appear in the data because the registries contain them; the launch services do not cover them.
What it does not do
It does not rank companies by quality and it does not hold contacts or named individuals. Size is a score built from products listed, registrations held, roles, sources and principals. Completeness tells you how much of the record the registry filled in. Registry data. Bastion Hale does not vouch for any establishment.
